The Perfect Beanie

About 6 years ago, I randomly bought a bright pink beanie. Little did I know at the time, it was not only a perfect beanie but also something that would become a signature.

We went places and did a ton together - from protests to work, to a lot of flights, to the quickest way to look cute during covid, it was a reliable and loved friend. It really was.

Sadly, my favorite beanie started to lose its shape...no longer fitting just perfectly and actually falling off my head when I laid on the couch wondering when we would ever go outside again (don't judge — you know you did too).

I panicked. What am I going to do? I can't find it anywhere!!!

Then I remembered, I make things. I make things I love and want. And then I share them with people in the hope they feel the same.

So here is my new favorite beanie. I know it might seem silly, but I hope you love it as much as I do and that many new adventures await the both of you, together.

The Vintage Sweatshirt

Do you know how much I love a sweatshirt?

I have an unhealthy amount of them — 4 shelves, a full closet. I buy them at every flea market I go to, and I def have a few brands that I love love love.

I also made one, which you may have. TBH, it needs to be worn like 100x and then it will be perfect. I have high hopes for the future of that sweatshirt. That one day, it will be a perfect vintage sweatshirt. It may take some work, but that makes it even better.

But here's the thing: we want things already done for us. Le sigh. It's probably why I wear my vintage ones even more than the ones I made.

But necessity is the mother of invention so VOILA...

Introducing the Vintage Sweatshirt. It's soft and cozy and a nice washed out black...and because I felt like imparting a bit of me, we added a little sweet safety pin embroidered on the wrist, just like my tattoo (which is really just based on my life...but that's a longer story).

Anyways, I love it and I hope you do too.
